They come to escape the daily grind; to try something new; to relax, celebrate, and create memories; to be a wizard for a day; to revisit a favorite childhood story or character; to “travel” in time and through space; to make believe; to EXPERIENCE something unforgettable. What makes it possible for those experiences to come to life is show action equipment.
Show action equipment is the mechanical, electromechanical, and automated systems used in themed environments. Everything from a row of control racks to motorized hoists that lower, lift, and hold show lighting and scenery to ride vehicles performing complex choreography in a completely immersive environment with a tightly controlled soundscape, lighting and effects that pulse, flash, crawl, and cross-fade to reveal scenic elements and animatronics in a darkened setting with passengers on board. Our job is to make sure that these systems deliver the magic and that they are reliable and SAFE.
