IAStage was contracted to fabricate and install an Acoustical Ceiling for the new concert hall at the University of South Florida’s Visual and Performing Arts Teaching Facility. This acoustical ceiling, made of hundreds of pieces, weighing 60,000 pounds is raised and lowered with a unique, 'dead haul', dual VF Drive system. The main frame supports triple layer sheet rock acoustic panels, concert and production lighting. In addition to the acoustic ceiling, InterAmerica Stage is manufacturing acoustic draperies and controls for variable acoustics.
